Spurned Spurs retaliate, crushing Heat by fifty: 79-129.

The Heat shot the ball so poorly, it got them whooped by fifty points, a season-high point spread mark by San Antonio, finding themselves back in the win margin once again. Brandon Ingram got that pass from Murray tonight, scorching Miami for 33 points & 11 rebounds with 4 steals. Murray, meanwhile, notched 27 points & 10 assists, redeeming himself after his blunder in Phoenix. Murray also snagged four steals.

The Rest: Kent Bazemore had 15 points, going a sweet 5-8 from long range as he improves to 37% overall after a cold slump last month. VanVleet notched 10 points, and Iman Shumpert got some burn for ten of his own. Andre Drummond smothered the interior for 23 rebounds & 7 assists to go with 8 tremendous blocks. P.J. Tucker scored 8, hitting two threes. Harris had 7. The Spurs won all four quarters: 14-31, 27-35, 17-29 & 21-34.

Former Spur, Skal Labissiere led the Heat with 15 points & 6 rebounds. Nico Mannion had 12 points, 7 assists. Kevin Love had just 10 points, 7 rebounds. Jimmy Butler had an awful game, with just 7 points on 3-10 shooting. Miami shot 41% for the game, going an ice cold 0-18 from 3PT territory with 16 turnovers.
