Both conference victors split the season series, but the Spurs would strike first in Game 1, fending off the fierce 76ers by thirteen points, pulling away in the 4th Quarter 31-24. Brandon Ingram had 20 points, 8 rebounds with 3 steals.

Dejounte Murray had 19 points, with Fred VanVleet scoring 18 points on four threes. Kent Bazemore had 11 points, as did Luka Samanic. Andre Drummond went 2-8, but saved 17 rebounds. P.J. Tucker returned to action, but scored just 2 points in 11 minutes.

In the narrow loss, Ben Simmons had 20 points & 11 assists with 8 rebounds. Tobias Harris also scored 20, with Al Horford securing a double-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds. Shake Milton's shot was off tonight, going 4-11 and 0-3 from long range. Joel Embiid had 16 rebounds, but scored 9 points.
