Spurs top Grizzlies, sans Ingram, in Drummond's return: 95-100.

Free agent addition, Malik Beasley, had a standout night.
In the second meeting so far this season, the Grizzlies brought a passionate "now, this is good basketball" to the Spurs @AT&T Center. Summer acquisition Malik Beasley (30 points, 5-8 3PT) led the Grizzlies road fury, but within a minute Andre Drummond proved why he was sought in the summer by San Antonio, swatting two shot attempts and dunking it home.

Still resting, Brandon Ingram sat this one out as the Clippers head into town next, and the Grizzlies nearly won this game without him helping the Spurs home stand, winning the 3rd Quarter 30-21, but Dejounte Murray in his return from rest (25 points). Drummond finished with 15 points, 21 rebounds, 2 steals & a tremendous 8 blocks. Kent Bazemore chipped in 15 points, going perfect from the perimeter (3-3) with 6 assists. Fred VanVleet scored 13 points, with Jarrett Allen notching 12 rebounds & 4 blocks.

For Memphis, Justice Winslow scored 15 points, Ja Morant had 12 & 12 and Jonas Valanciunas hoisted down 17 rebounds.
